GIS Data Overview

The Scott County GIS Department has its data available for sale in DWG and Shapefile format. The data can be ordered and delivered via email or CD depending on file size.

Data Layers and Format Availability

**All GIS data is stored and available in Scott County Coordinates. Click here to download our Projection (.PRJ) file. Additional projection and coordinate information is available through our Surveyors Office

Aerial Photography (6 inch pixel - color orthoimagery) $100 per section in MrSID format only.
Planimetric Data (Physical feature layers) $6 per acre.
Topographic Data (2 foot contours) $6 per acre.
Parcel Data - see pricing schedule below.

  • 1-2,000 parcels - $0.05 per parcel
  • 2,000-5,000 parcels - $0.03 per parcel
  • 5,000-50,000 parcels - $0.02 per parcel
  • 50,000 or more parcel - $0.01 per parcel (currently there are roughly 55,000 parcels)
